Summer Splashin' Fun

No applause please . . . but YES, this is a layout and YES it is a 12x12 one! I know I haven't done a 12x12 layout in what seems like forever, but this one has been sitting on my desk since the middle of June I believe waiting to be done. It kept getting shoved to the side over and over, but I thought this weekend . . why not just do the darn thing and get it 'off' my desk! So here it is!

I took the paper splash idea from a layout I saw in a scrapbook magazine, but ran w/ the rest of it and made my own 'sewn' splashes, etc . . .


Added splashes made out of embroidery thread and skittles.


The 'Splashin' is cut from foam with the Sizzix 'Sunset' Font. 'Fun' is the $1 spot Target chipboard letters, and the 'summer' is a font printed from my computer and cut.
