Blog Hop Time Again . . .

Ok, so TOTALLY aside from the fact that I ran off and left my blog for several weeks and neglected it . . . Yes, I know . . . I am terrible . . you don't have to tell me! It is still 'blog hop' time . . .

The challenge this week was hidden journaling! Since . . I have been scarce in my scrapbook room as well as on my blog - SEE I wasn't just doing lots of crafty stuff and not sharing, I just wasn't doing anything scrap related at all . . feel better? :)
Anyway . . . I decided to pull out an oldie and repost it. This is from my pregnancy album (3 years ago) . .

The first page has hidden pictures (my weight on a scale b/c I wouldn't believe it later at how much I gained w/ the boys (we will leave that hidden for a reason)) and journaling tucked under that picture. Journaling mainly about how I felt that month, that week. A few days after that picture was taken was when I had my beautiful boys!


This second page has more journaling under the picture w/ brackets . . .

I really like these too pages because they are 'happier' pages! LOL! We finally got to go home! They were so tiny in those carseats!

The Hardest Goodbye (Pages 32 & 33)

This is one of the hardest layouts I have had to do . . . it took me forever! Not because of the actually scrapping, but because of the topic. It was VERY hard for me to leave my boys and go home . . . it took all I had to do these 2 pages, but I did them. I still have a letter to print and stick in between the pages as 'hidden journaling' of my thoughts . . .

Hospital Stay (Pages 30 & 31)

I still don't like the way these pages turned out. I had to do several 'cover-ups' throughout the entire layout . . . but it is done!

Love at first sight . . . (Pages 28 & 29)

This is when I actually 'met' my boys! They were SO tiny and fragile I was scared to touch them! I just love the way this lo turned out!

They are HERE! I love the colors on this layout! I had TOO many pictures that I wanted to use it was VERY hard to narrow it down to fit on 8x8 pages!!!

The Waiting Game . . . (Pages 24 & 25)

These are pictures of the 'waiting room'. One of my 'requests' was that my brother take pictures of the waiting room (b/c obviously I couldn't be there) . . . I AM SO THANKFUL THAT HE DID!! AND . . he even got the clock in some of the pictures which turned out great! The pocket holds the pictures of Bo and I waiting very UN-patiently!!! LOL!

The story of 'The Names' . . (Pages 22 & 23)

This layout is all about the 'names' . . . I wanted the story documented and this is all I could think of . . .

APRIL!!! (Pages 20 & 21)

This was the FINAL month!! My hubby had the brilliant idea (my brain was not working at all that month) to take a picture of the 'scale' and my ankles on how BIG they got from all the swelling! The little hinged 'door' swings open for a picture of my 'ugly' ankles and the pull out tabs on the other page are of the 'scale' and my pound-age! LOL!

March (Pages 18 & 19)

This is for the month of March . . . obviously the white spots are NOT part of the layout, but to simply cover up 'personals'.

Pooh Bear (Pages 16 & 17)

This was my second shower . . . the theme was 'Winnie the Pooh' . .

Two Peas in a Pod (Pages 14 & 15)

This was my first shower. The theme was 'Two Peas in a Pod' . . . it was TOO cute!!!

February . . . (Pages 12 & 13)

Here is February . . . I tried doing different things with all my ultrasound pictures. Not too sure I like what I did with this month, but it is done!

It's TWO Boys!!! (Pages 10 & 11)

This is the month we found out it was TWO BOYS!!! I had so many ultrasound pictures I had to think of a unique way to display them . . .

This is the month of December . . . I just LOVE the colors of this one. It is so bright and cheery! LOL!

These are mostly the month of November and how we 'told' everyone the news.

This page is basically our first doctor's appointment and ultrasound where we found out it was TWO instead of just ONE! LOL!

A Baby is a Blessing . . . (Page 2 & 3)

You will slowly notice that my style is changing throughout this book. Mainly b/c during the middle of my pregnancy I quit the book b/c I didn't feel like doing ANYTHING! LOL! These 2 pages are mainly the 'happenings' at the very beginning of the pregnancy . . .

Pregnancy Album (Page 1) . . .

I finished up my pregnancy album a while back, but only posted it on another board. I thought I would slowly (yes . . there is alot of pages) post it here for people to maybe get some 'scraplifting' ideas from . . . the 'first' page is the opening cover page and basically tells the dates and such we took the test and reactions.
