Retreat, RETREAT!

So the retreat . . I think when Kelci mentioned she was planning one a while back and asked my ideas on this & that . . then I came back to her w/ 'wait a minute and let me see if I can come' . . I really think she thought I was joking at first! LMAO! So when everything was finalized and I was in fact going AND Keeley & Shana committed to traveling and attending . . THEN Kristi from Texas committed & of course all the regular CA girls! It was like it was meant to be. It was really cool that so many of us were able to fly out to CA to a retreat, ON THE BEACH!

BUT what made it even more special is that Kelci offered to let me stay w/ her and her family the 2 extra days I was in town. They are such a sweet little crafty family (see below)! Ms. Bella became my own little pal while in town . . and I was honored to finally become a 'princess' on Friday morning b/f we headed to the retreat spot. Miss that little girl, but Ms. Matea truly made me miss my boys . . she is a little bit smaller than the boys, but reminded me of them so much! And of coarse Crafty Papa . . I can't wait to go back so he can show me the Sand Dunes the way they should be shown! LMAO! I think I would love it! I miss you guys!!! (and the fish & chips (fries, yes fries are not 'chips' in Arkansas)!!!

More of the girls on our 'beach walk' . . we didn't stay out too long b/c it was freakin' FREEZING! How did we pick the ONE weekend that it was cold to be in CA?? HOW???


Our 'spot' . . we were in the middle home w/ the 2 glass windows, we had a view of the ocean the entire time we were scrapping! AWESOME! It was nice to scrap, then stop and watch the ocean for a bit, then scrap again, then stop, then scrap again, then stop . . LMAO!

The HUGE pizza we had Friday night . . it was SO yummy . . I think I could have ate like 4 slices all by myself, BUT I decided I better not look like a PIG the first night I met several of the ladies! LOL!
